Handwaved CR Meme!

Howdy, folks!!

Since a bunch of us were chatting in the Discord about it, figured I'd take initiative and set up a ✨handwaved CR meme✨!

How does it work? Simple! Post a top-level as your player name, and subheads with character/canon in the subject line and do a brief rundown of their personality/job (if applicable)/general places they hang out/their interests, any other relevant information or notable features, and let 'er rip!

Example:

Rowan Fizzbin | OC
Rowan is a faun with a small rack of deer horns, one purple llama leg (their right) and one magical prosthetic (left leg, looks like sleek white plastic with glowing bits). They are likely to be found in the library, pestering anyone who looks interesting around town, and learning everything they can about the local magic and how it interacts with the magic and skills of everyone else. If you look different than baseline human, they would probably be very interested in chatting with (and perhaps prodding at) you.

Now let's get this show on the road, pumpkins!

Laios Touden | Dungeon Meshi

Laios is 26, one of the cooks at the Oak & Iron, and is among those on the island who would gladly call themselves an adventurer.

He's a golden retriever of a man, brimming with enthusiasm, especially with this community that he's feeling especially embraced by. Everyone here is friendly, and while he can let himself blend into a crowd from time to time, he's more prone to striking up conversation than he's ever been. His deepest, lifelong passion is for monsters, though he's fairly reserved about getting into that. Once you've reached friendship deep enough or a situation comes up where he's got the opportunity to get into that, all bets are off. (He's also very fond of animals in general, especially dogs!)

Having been part of a dungeoneering party back in his home, Laios has a taste for adventure, and will frequently join up any groups making journeys out into Paradesium, Lockwood Forest, or just about anywhere else they might need to go. He's also training as a druid in Mairi Miann's druid circle, and frequently runs around in assorted wildshapes - his favorite among them is a silver/white wolf, but he'll occasionally take the shapes of some of his favorite Paradesium creatures, such as the Silkhide Chimeras, Resplendent Pygmy Drakes, and Glowtail Jaguars.

Laios has probably encountered Bastion in the forest! They are both Animal Enjoyers; Bastion likes birds the best but dogs are pretty good too.

YES PERFECT if Laios even ran into them so much as twice, he considers them buddies now!! And, as such, he'll make sure to remember where he's seen particularly pretty birds, and try to let them know to go have a look!

Laios has surely cooked for Shen Qingqiu several times by now, and they must have had several conversations about monsters and their uses. They are buddies <3 Maybe they've even gone an expedition or two?

It's true!! Friendship is real and Laios is already attached <3 After their pen pal conversations, Laios would be extremely ready to prattle about monsters to him to great lengths, and take trips to Paradesium/other Monster Sighting Spots! (Shen Qingqiu has the privilege of being one of a few people that he's finally opened up to in full force about his love of monsters, in fact!)

That's adorable! They're monster bros now, it's official. Laois can call on SQQ any time he needs a hand...and perhaps, as Laois opens to him more about his feelings re: monsters, SQQ might also tell him a bit about how lovely it was living with one of PIDW's most feared monsters -- referring, of course, to Luo Binghe.

It always comes back to Luo Binghe with this guy, smdh XD

MONSTER BROS YESSS

SQQ telling Laios about Luo Binghe is so funny to think about, he'd be so invested at the "most feared monster" and have a totally different mental image going than is even remotely correct - imagine the glass-shattering sound effect when he's like "wow this sounds like an Incredibly Cool Monster, what did he look like? :D" and finds out that Binghe is simply A Guy

haskjhfkaj SQQ would be so offended, Binghe isn't just a guy! He's the most specialest little boy in the world!!!

It's okay though, he'll forgive Laois quickly XD He's never even met Binghe, of course SQQ's feeble descriptions can't match up to the real thing!
