Welcome to Pumpkin Hollow's first Monthly Meme! This month's edition is "Do I Know You From Somewhere?", a Handwaved-CR meme!

Participation is optional and very simple: just follow the steps below to get rolling!

1) Post a top-level from your character's account, detailing the places that they're most likely to frequent. The library, the shops, your character's workplace, the seaside - you name it, there's probably someone who passes through there!

2) Check out your fellow Pumpkin Hollowite's posts, and see where they pass through. If you feel like you'd pass by there, drop a reply on there detailing how they very briefly cross paths! Are the feelings positive, like someone who you don't know, but would miss if they disappeared? Is it negative, like that one guy who keeps shoulder-checking you at work? Maybe it's as neutral as it gets. The world is your oyster!

3) Profit. You and your fellow islanders have developed a relationship, even if extremely surface-level! Now you can go into prompts with a vague familiarity and a distinct lack of that "I've never seen this person in my life" awkwardness.

1. The clinic, the clinic, the clinic. First Aid spends easily three-quarters of his time here or more; he even sleeps in one of the store rooms. He keeps regular appointment and walk-in hours, and I'm always happy to handwave a consultation.

2. The distillery. First Aid makes a brief trip out there every morning to refuel on filtered ethanol. He doesn't have a mouth, so he has to siphon the fuel through an intake normally covered by a panel on his side. It looks exactly like a car refueling.

3. The library. There were so many books back home that this nerd wasn't able to read, because they were too small and hadn't been digitized. He's making up for lost time now.

4. Eddie's farm! On First Aid's rare (Chris Freeman-enforced) days off he can often be found out at Eddie Kaspbrak's farm, visiting and seeing how the greenhouse is coming along. They're going to try and grow penicillin, it's very exciting!

Ah, I would love it if they got used to seeing each other now and then! It'll make a good foundation for the next thread they do together.

Rachel has a strong appreciation and admiration for First Aid after witnessing his actions at the carnival. She frequents the library a lot, especially since it's so close to Town Hall, where she works. She'd be more than happy whenever they run into eachother there! Whether it's to catch up or merely keep eachother in silent company—each with a good book in hand.

That would be nice! And First Aid would definitely be relieved to know she's okay after their encounter at the carnival. His own time in the hall of mirrors left him pretty badly rattled.
