Welcome to Pumpkin Hollow's first Monthly Meme! This month's edition is "Do I Know You From Somewhere?", a Handwaved-CR meme!

Participation is optional and very simple: just follow the steps below to get rolling!

1) Post a top-level from your character's account, detailing the places that they're most likely to frequent. The library, the shops, your character's workplace, the seaside - you name it, there's probably someone who passes through there!

2) Check out your fellow Pumpkin Hollowite's posts, and see where they pass through. If you feel like you'd pass by there, drop a reply on there detailing how they very briefly cross paths! Are the feelings positive, like someone who you don't know, but would miss if they disappeared? Is it negative, like that one guy who keeps shoulder-checking you at work? Maybe it's as neutral as it gets. The world is your oyster!

3) Profit. You and your fellow islanders have developed a relationship, even if extremely surface-level! Now you can go into prompts with a vague familiarity and a distinct lack of that "I've never seen this person in my life" awkwardness.

Now go get some lovely new acquaintances, and have fun!

1. She's working aboard the Mipha's Grace! And doing a horrible job, but she's really trying her best. As such, she can be seen on the boat, or around the docks!

2. Thinking about trying to poke into the Temple, but she hasn't gotten the nerve up yet. Right now, she just... stands across the church yard and stares for a while, before scurrying off.

3. A new wolfy buddy has her occasionally around the edge of the woods. Sometimes she picks flowers for a little glass bottle she's been using as a vase in her room. If you forage, you might run into her!

4. Re: her room, she's in the Oak and Iron! Maybe a roommate's seen her during her ins-and-outs.

5. She is, admittedly, kind of nosy. If she sees someone working outside on something, she might linger. You been getting up to any projects? Work outside in general? There's a solid chance she'll look at you briefly with her big ol' eyes.

Definitely there’s been eye contact while Angel visited the churchyard. Unblinking staring silent long uncomfortable eye contact.

oh 100%, they've definitely got a very strong "oh heyyyyy you!" type of awkward familiarity from across the church yard

Depending on how horrible a job she's doing, maybe it's a good thing that when the boats come in, there's a medical practitioner waiting on shore just in case.

I can guarantee she's, at least once, gotten some horrible rope-burn when tying to tie a knot that she saw once in a book (that didn't last and subsequently tried to crash a sail onto her)

so she's absolutely familiar with Chris for the ol' "embarrassing injury of the week" when she comes back in!

First Aid would almost definitely try to make friendly small talk with her if he catches her staring while he's refueling at the distillery XD

she's easy to get roped into small talk, just horrible at starting it, herself! FA could absolutely keep her chatting for a hot minute (especially if she can find a Not Awkward way to ask what's up with him!)
