Handwave Meme!
Here's a writing exercise! What do your characters get up to in between threads? Do they have a daily routine? Is it different week to week? Do they live with someone? Maybe they have coworkers! This is where you can write all sorts of fun little details!
Post a top-level for your character with the information below (all prompts are optional, of course!), tag around to see who you might run into in the future or maybe who you've already seen around, and even plot further handwavy things.
Feel free to answer as much or as little as you want, come up with your own prompts, and/or do whatever you'd like. Most of all, have fun!

Leon S. Kennedy | Resident Evil 4 (Remake)
Character: Leon S. Kennedy
Series: Resident Evil (remake continuity)
Daily Routine: Leon's pretty absorbed in his work a lot of the time, especially since stepping up to take over some of Valdis's duties as Chief Constable. He can usually be found at the police station, but carves out time to go on regular patrols around town most days, and as such can be found just about anywhere within walking distance of downtown pretty easily. In past months he's made a special effort to swing by the Oak and Iron to check for newbies, but he's gotten out of the habit as of late with so many other things to worry about.
He also makes regular excursions to Paradesium to harvest healing herbs - though he usually sticks around the entrance for fear of falling down a hole and getting stuck for another several months.
Living Arrangements: Leon lives in a fairly nice home off towards the edge of town. If I gave him an actual address I have since forgotten it entirely. He doesn't have guests over often, so you're unlikely to have met up with him here.
Roommates/Neighbors: None!! Or he may have neighbors but like I said I forgot what neighborhood he's in super hard.
Job/Business: Currently standing in as Chief Constable, so if you're a cop you probably know him pretty well at this point!!

Radar O'Reilly | M*A*S*H
Character: Radar O'Reilly
Series: M*A*S*H
Daily Routine: You've seen Radar around. He is everywhere. At some point he might've even popped up out of nowhere to hand you a screwdriver/pencil/sandwich right when you needed it, then disappeared again without further comment. But! Day to day, you're most likely to spot him at Town Hall, Baker Ranch (out in the Northwest Hollow farmlands), or Empty Pockets. He loves to be helpful, and he's gregarious enough to make cheerful small talk with anybody unless they're actively trying to murder him.
Living Arrangements: Radar lives at the Leeds Estate! Most weeks, he'll spend a night or two out at Baker Ranch, too. If you've visited either of those places, odds are good Radar's at least given you a hello.
Roommates/Neighbors: Lol he has many. (The Leeds Estate has really filled up since last fall.) Dahlia, the Deltateens, and Tenna are the main crew, plus Laios and Daisy sometimes; out at Baker Ranch, there's Edgar and Nimona, plus a few other notable non-humans. His closest ranch neighbors are North, South, Theta, and Carolina.
Job/Business: Also many, lmao. On paper, Radar is Dahlia's personal assistant, but he also moonlights as a general Town Hall clerk/gopher, farmhand, and drummer. He might've helped you with your paperwork, delivered a shipment of produce to your store, or been on stage at Empty Pockets during a night out.

Mettaton | Undertale
Character: Mettaton
Series: Undertale
Daily Routine: Mettaton's mornings start off with selfcare, getting himself ready for the day, and being his beautiful fabulous self. He might eat. Who knows. Has anyone actually seen him eat anything since coming here? (Besides Kris seeing him pour a drink on himself.) After that, it's time for work at the Radio Station, helping Melanie and Phil out with all manner of things.
He, of course, makes time to spend with friends and the like throughout the week as well. At night, Mettaton can be found regularly performing at Empty Pockets and the Oak and Iron.
Every Saturday or Sunday is Spa Day with Grace, where they get together and gossip and TREAT YO' SELF with fun little activities.
Living Arrangements: At the Goldleaf Street Apartments, 2D. His door has a pink wire wreath (courtesy of Papyrus) on it that he decorates depending on the season/holiday. His room itself pretty much looks similar to the one he had back in Waterfall. Pink everywhere, very plush, with the addition of various make-up and robot care products.
Roommates/Neighbors: No roommates. Neighbors are Moire and Fever. He tries to keep it down to not disturb them.
Job/Business: Primarily he works at the Radio Station during the day, running errands and helping to keep things organized for Melanie and Phil. Occasionally his voice can be heard but he primarily enjoys helping the two behind the scenes.

Agent South Dakota | RvB
Character: South / Agent South Dakota
Series: Red vs Blue
Daily Routine: South gets up, does a basic morning workout, eats breakfast with her brother and then she's at work doing whatever jobs the Bizzies have been asked to help with for a lot of the rest of the day. How long she's at work depends on the tasks at hand on any given day.
Outside of work, she's getting back into handiwork as a hobby—so fixing things up, building stuff, etc. She's often visible in the grounds of North's farm helping out with manual labour of various kinds. You're generally going to see her around the Northwest Hollow farmland areas most regularly, but she visits town for work, errands and to see people like Haley. She's admittedly a little hard to catch in conversation without purpose.
(Notably she's been at the O&I a lot less recently after spending most of November through mid-December haunting the place drinking herself sick. Now she rarely visits at all.)
Living Arrangements: She lives out at 487 Juniper Drive in the farmlands. The farm has both crop space and a collection of animals. Only close friends of hers would get invited in, but North's friends might have seen her around if they've come by since late-January.
Roommates/Neighbors: She lives with her brother, North, and his
sonward, Theta. From mid-December to late-January, she was living on Carolina's couch, which friends of Lina may have seen first-hand. Edgar (+ Radar) at Baker Ranch are their other main neighbours.Job/Business: South works for the Bizzyboys and thus is mostly doing odd jobs that people request help with, ranging from manual labour to finding things to investigating things, so on, so forth. It's a range and she's finding it pretty fulfilling.

Agent Connecticut / CT | RvB
Character: CT / Agent Connecticut
Series: Red vs Blue
Daily Routine: CT sees Ripley off to work after breakfast and then goes for a run around Northwest Hollow residential every morning before work. She's then, typically, either at the constabulary DSA offices or at the library until late into the evening when Ripley gets back. Whether she leaves on time is hit and miss and sometimes she has to be lured out.
She occasionally makes time for patrols still, but mostly ends up in her office working through things. She's been a bit less consistent about work in the last month or so due to the reveal of Nyarlathotep's identity throwing her off, but will be throwing herself back into it hard soon.
Outside of work, she's occasionally at the O&I or library, but the workaholic tendency is real and friends will usually have to make special effort to get her to do something else.
Living Arrangements: She lives out at 517 Meadowlark Lane in Northwest Hollow residential, in a pretty small little place with a walled off yard. One-bedroom, open plan living and kitchen, what was once a second bedroom converted into an office with a whole conspiracy board (only specific people will get to go inside there, it's locked otherwise lmao).
Roommates/Neighbors: She recently moved Ellen Ripley in with her, after they finally defined the relationship back in November. Her only immediate neighbour is Shen Qinqiu, two doors down. Previously, Crichton had the house in-between.
Job/Business: CT's the Chief Constable of the Department of Supernatural Affairs, so the sub-branch of enforcers originally set up by Valdis to focus specifically on supernatural mysteries and threats. This is her primary focus. If you work with the constabulary, you definitely know her in passing.

I feel like we can probably handwave the fact that they haven't had more "onscreen" conversations pretty decently with the fact that Leon was being a recluse for a few months doing casework that probably didn't overlap with the DSA's purview. Parallel workaholism.

Yeah that about covers them mostly having some basic off-screen work interactions, CT's been in a long stretch of paranoia the last few months because of her Eyevatar status too so even before Kadath she's been a bit harder to nail down than usual.
'Luckily' the paranoia will probably make her want to talk to Leon more after the handover so she can make sure he's legit, lmao. It won't be that hard to tell something's off because she will miss work the first few days after, which she never does, and be on high alert when she does return.

Character: Theta
Series: Red vs Blue
Daily Routine: Theta tends to need to sleep in with just enough time for breakfast before he has to run off to school, because he sleeps poorly, but after that he's usually back at the farm doing his little tasks. During the school day any of the other teens that attend can find him there since it's one big class. He's very good at school and enjoys it a lot.
He's still pretty shy and nervous, so finding him anywhere but school, around the farmlands or following North on a trip into town is pretty hard, but he's open to talking to people (especially friends of North's) even if he might take a bit of work to settle down. He also tends to say things that make no goddamn sense without context.
Living Arrangements: He lives out at 487 Juniper Drive in the farmlands. The farm has both crop space and a collection of animals. Friends of North's will probably know he exists by the time Merrymeet comes around, if they haven't met him on their own before then.
Roommates/Neighbors: He his

He mostly just helps look after the chickens because that's easy enough for him to do.

Daisy Tonner | TMA
Character: Daisy Tonner
Series: The Magnus Archives
Daily Routine: Daisy goes Hunting early, and is usually back by early afternoon to do prep and sell, then she's free for the day. What this means varies. She likes running, she visits friends, spends time with her girlfriends, she takes long naps in wolf shape in her yard... since the Calloway's upgrade you might find her with an MP3 player listening through episodes of the Archers Radio Drama lmao.
You can find her around town, generally. She's pretty well settled here by now and feels mostly integrated into town.
Living Arrangements: Daisy splits time between the Leeds Estate and 295 Waypoint Avenue downtown, which is an old farmhouse that got swallowed up by town expansion sometime at some point. She's spending more and more time at the estate these days, but still needs the downtown place for work things and occasional need for somewhere quieter.
Roommates/Neighbors: She lives with Basira downtown, and the estate is full of people she knows varyingly well (Dahlia, Radar, the Deltateens, Tenna, Laois).
Job/Business: Daisy hunts and sells the meat. That's basically it. She goes out, gets some big game kills, brings them back to the downtown house, prepares them, then sells them. You might run into her in the woods but you probably don't want to! She doesn't use weapons she uses either her human-shape's unnatural teeth/claws or shifts into wolf shape.

Melanie King | TMA
Character: Melanie King (never 'Mel')
Series: The Magnus Archives
Daily Routine: Lazy morning with her cat, then off to do her work at the radio station where she'll be until broadcast ends for the day—which is later sometimes than others, especially during crises. She'll often be in Town Hall itself between broadcasts, so those who work there will probably know her in at least passing.
Outside of work, she goes to Braille club whenever it's on (run by DTNPC Helena), she hangs out with Anya and Basira/Daisy, and she frequents Martin's tea shop to chill and chat with people whilst drinking some tea and such. She can navigate town easily by now with her cane.
Living Arrangements: She lives in the Goldleaf Apartments, number 1E. I've built her apartment in the Sims but I don't have photos, lmao. Only close friends likely get to visit.
Roommates/Neighbors: Her only roommates are her one-eyed cat, Dread Pirate Jones, and her Shuppet. Her only immediate neighbours are Anya (+ Curly), but anyone else on the first floor would see her come in and out. She's pretty visible with her dark glasses and cane.
Job/Business: Melanie is a radio host who does daily radio shows about various sources of supernatural danger in Pumpkin Hollow, some historical and some very much contemporary. You will have heard her voice if you've ever listened to the radio. She's a reliable source of information as far as is possible to be. She also writes articles for the paper.
Sending Stone: Honestly, I haven't picked, but it'll be black or dark blue. Her IC inbox is here though it has yet to be used.
Gwen Stacy | Spiderverse Trilogy
Character: Gwen Stacy / Spider-Woman
Series: Spiderverse Movies
Daily Routine: Gwen heads right to work after breakfast and is at the store until close, where you can come either be served by her or get clothes altered. After, she might hang around a bit or she might head back to the dorm to hang with the kids and help Pennyburrow out.
She plays drums and if you ever go by the dorm you will hear this sometimes. She also dances. She'll visit the Empty Pockets occasionally, though she rarely thinks about performing herself. Most days, she also spends time hopping about buildings in town in her Spider-Womany way, keeping an eye out for trouble people may be in or just for the love of the game. The odds of a teenager saying hello to you whilst standing stuck to a wall above your head is never zero.
Living Arrangements: Currently she still lives at the dormitory, even though she's turned 18, because she hasn't made other arrangements yet. This will likely change soon as Gerry should be asking her to move in with him and Carolina eventually.
Roommates/Neighbors: All the kids at the dorms, which are basically just NPCs at this point, and obviously Pennyburrow. She helps out around the dorm and is pretty attached to a few of the kids that latched onto her as the Cool Older Kid.
Job/Business: Gwen has never gone to school here, and just works with Gerry and Helena at Gerry's store. She helps bind the books and does clothes alteration on the side.

Alex Chen | Life is Strange
Character: Alex Chen
Series: Life is Strange: True Colours
Daily Routine: She only has to go downstairs for work, so Alex usually gets up, makes breakfast, then plays guitar for a bit before she goes down and gets to it. She's then working until close.
She regularly goes to the O&I for evening meals, not every night but frequently enough to be a common sight at the bar. She tends to pick corner tables away from too many people but is always happy to share, and will drink with friends. She also goes to the Empty Pockets about once a week, but has yet to build up the nerve to play there herself, just preferring to support everyone else. Eventually she might be coaxed to play and sing.
She also occasionally has stretches where she'll go around trying to help townsfolk with her Empathy, which she isn't open about with a lot of people yet but does try to use for good. This is particularly common after major bad events.
Living Arrangements: She lives at 223 Birdseye View downtown, above the store she works at. It's a studio apartment. Here's a couple Sims screenshots: One, Two. Friends may have been invited over.
Roommates/Neighbors: Her only roommate is her Azurill, and I don't think she has any specific neighbours, but she's in the downtown area.
Job/Business: Alex works at a store called For The Record, downtown, that sells shellac records for gramophones, some gramophones themselves, and a selection of instruments. She's just a shop assistant, but she's pretty knowledgeable, and can always tell when the owner is in the best mood to get you good haggling.

Marik Ishtar | Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
Character: Marik Ishtar
Series: Yu-Gi-Oh! Duel Monsters
Daily Routine: Marik usually keeps to himself throughout the day. The most social/happy he gets is running with King Halo every morning, which is the first thing he does after eating a small breakfast. Once done with that, he generally returns home to freshen up and properly greet the day. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday he spends about 4 hours with a small table setup in the downtown to sell his perfumes. Marik also uses this time to people watch/eavesdrop — which he now has another motive for doing so other than liking to be in the know-how.
Other places he can be found when not being a piece of shit are the Oak and Iron for meals, down at the Docks to play cards with the skeleton pirates, or taking care of the Cemetery (when Mulcahy isn't there).
He occasionally runs errands or babysits for Tarantulas, being a very good role model for Dawn.
Living Arrangements: Lives near the Fall's Promise Cemetery in the only house on Wildflower Lane. The house is of moderate size, somewhat plain looking from the outside, but the inside of nicely decorated. While he can't get his usual Egyptian-style furniture and the like, it's very ornate with purples and golds with dark woods.
The house itself constantly smells of incense, usually frankincense and myrrh. There is a small make-shift shrine to the Egyptian Gods in his living room.
Roommates/Neighbors: None. He lives by himself. I would say if anyone has been to his place, it would only be Dr. Harvey, Papyrus, and/or King Halo. Valdis is next on the list of people he's alright with having over.
Job/Business: Perfume Maker. Marik gathers local ingredients out in the forests as well as various shops to combine and make his perfumes in the fashion of the ancient ways.

Character: Felix Gaeta
Series: Battlestar Galactica (the 2003 reboot)
Daily Routine: Unfortunately, Gaeta's current routine is "stay in bed unless absolutely necessary and/or I am gently bullied into getting up." (The Nyarlathotep reveal really fucked him up considering it's now the [mumblemumble] time he's been betrayed horribly by someone he trusted.) In more ordinary times, though, he's... er, still a bit of a hermit, but not nearly as bad! He rises early, makes breakfast for the household, goes to work at the library, and either runs errands or fusses around with his own magical research projects after. Because of his limited mobility, he sticks to Downtown Hollow as much as possible; you're most likely to spot him at the library, reading on the green, or puttering around the backyard of his and Mulcahy's house.
Living Arrangements + Roommates/Neighbors: Until a few months ago, Gaeta lived on the first floor of the Goldleaf apartments -- you might have been neighbors with him! -- but now he lives at 371 S. High St with Francis Mulcahy, next door to Hawkeye's clinic. Aside from his QPP/not-boyfriend, Gaeta shares the house with Mulcahy's Pokemon (a Klefki named Peter and a Gogoat named Connor), plus a dovecote in the backyard. Watching the birds land on Francis will never not be the sweetest thing he's ever seen.
Job/Business: Gaeta's a librarian! Originally he took the job under the misguided belief he could read all day, but that quickly evolved -- as all library jobs do -- into assembling research guides and bringing a little order to the more chaotic sections of the place. Between his knowledge of the collection and his Web abilities, he's an excellent resource if you're looking for information in the stacks.

Grace Holloway | BioShock 2
Character: Grace Holloway
Series: BioShock
Daily Routine: Grace wakes up well after dawn even in winter, seeing as she keeps nights as late as is safe. Her days are filled with errands, rehearsals, and — most of all — networking. She attends the musical performances of others as often as she can manage, and does her very best to secure invitations to enough teatimes, book clubs, and informal discussions to ensure the rest of her time is filled. Often she can be found at the Empty Pockets or the Oak and Iron, or occasionally near the docks, welcoming new arrivals. She rarely ventures out of town limits, though a juicy opportunity to build rapport might tempt her out.
On the weekends, she dedicates a good chunk of one day to a full spa treatment with Mettaton, to rejuvenate and decompress. They swap between apartments as suits their fancy. Other than that, she doesn’t seem to spend much time relaxing on her own… though she’s often seen with a cigarette.
Living Arrangements: Goldleaf Apartments, unit 1B
The apartment is shaped a little like an uppercase “L” with a short leg, the front door positioned at the base of the spine. The floor is made of worn but flush wooden boards, and beige-plastered walls are interspersed by a few decoratively-carved support timbers. On entering, you can see down both angles: on the right, the short stroke of the “L” base, an inbuilt bookcase and small step-stool taking up the sparse space not occupied by a door. Only a few books actually seem to be in residence, joined by a few cheaply-framed posters of local music acts: Juniper Sweetwater, Hildegard the Bard, The Deadwood Five, The Filthy Heathens, The Rattlebones, Cormac and the Banshees. The one of an act entitled “METTATON” looks a little fresher, with a nicer frame. On the immediate left, a coatrack and shoestand on a metal tray are jammed in the corner.
Ahead, the main room is the combined living and dining areas, featuring a low coffee table in the middle of the room on a faded green rug, opposite a couch and an armchair set against the right wall. Both couch and armchair are green, and have thin embroidered antimacassars draped over the heads and arms. In the back left corner, a table and four white chairs huddle like commuters trying to stay out of the way of traffic, next to the kitchen door in the back wall. There are more hooks for décor on the wall above the couch than there are hangings to use them: painted landscapes framed in mismatched wood.
Roommates/Neighbors: First floor neighbors include Alice Dyer, Anya Kovacs, and Melanie King. She doesn’t know any of them yet, but she has plans.
Job/Business: Entertainer — singing, specifically. She’s a horrible change-resistant genre snob at heart, but she’s at least trying to branch out for the sake of business.

Sephiroth | Final Fantasy VII
Character: Sephiroth
Series: Final Fantasy VII
Daily Routine: Sephiroth has been conditioned from childhood to get up early, and he still often does, although if he's had a long night he will occasionally allow himself sleeping in. He fixes breakfast with Zack for them and their Pokemon and then they head off to work. He still likes to patrol the woods in Safer form when off-duty. Sometimes he also just flies around town to patrol from the skies (or possibly to enjoy his wings, but he doesn't admit to that if so). The library is a favorite locale and he still goes there frequently, trying to piece together clues about the curse. He also takes time for walking the Pokemon, which Zack happily participates in. They sometimes eat out at the Oak and Iron and other times prefer to be at home for dinner.
Living Arrangements: Zack, his Eevee Lucy, his Umbreon Zack (yes, that gets confusing), and his Vaporeon Cloud. They have a nice house in the Northwest area.
Roommates/Neighbors: Snakes lives nearby, and probably other police as well? Farms are also likely nearby.
Job/Business: Enforcer
Sending Stone: A black onyx, with beautiful streaks of white running through it.
Dr. James Harvey | Casper

Daily Routine: Harvey makes frequent visits into town to try and keep in the know of what's going on in the community. He can be seen around townhall and having a meal up at the inn a lot, as well as watching Grace Holloway perform whenever he gets a chance. He's also open to meeting patients at his clinic at any time, as well as hosting guests who simply want to stop and chat or have something to eat. (He cannot cook but he will feed you things that he has purchased with his Bountiful budget...) He's routinely tormented by the "ghost" that haunts his kitchen (it's actually a Pokemon) and also has begun paying a visit to the cemetery more often. He tries to keep an eye on those he's making connections with and remains especially worried about, notably Marik Ishtar and Radar O'Reilly, who are very Adoption-Shaped....
Living Arrangements: Harvey lives at 626 Hickory Avenue / Northwest Hollow, on the outskirts of town, where he runs a mental health clinic out of his home.
Roommates/Neighbors: No housemates, apart from a naughty little Polteageist he's affectionately named Casper....
Job/Business: Physician (Psychiatrist) | info
He also offers his services for any kind of Spooky Ghostly Assistance if needed and is very openly interested in the supernatural in general.

PAPYRUS | Undertale
Character: Papyrus
Series: Undertale
Daily Routine:
Papyrus doesn't have a consistent daily routine, in part because he doesn't have a brother around to be harassing into a better routine like clockwork. He does tend to be home catnapping in the evening and predawn, but he rarely sleeps the night all through. Night owls may have spotted him up in the middle of the night, whether out taking a midnight stroll, or in his home with a lamp on, reading, doing things with various art forms, or messing around with his toy soldiers.
His schedule has only gotten more inconsistent with his current slow transition between jobs, as he's spending some days pitching in with the labor crew, some researching and practicing all sorts of things to do with farming and animal husbandry, and occasionally days off for the various chores and whims that take him.

Job/Business: Previously in the reconstruction laborer crew, he's been making the switch to farming come springtime, with a lot of reading - and ideally, stints at various farms in town to learn the ropes. Maybe he's shadowed with your character at some point over the winter?
