There's some muffled clucking from the chicken that allows Peach to follow along, and the running pair have just about crossed into the Northwest Hollow area when someone can be heard calling,

"Bobbin! Bobbin!" and grumbling, "Where did that chicken run off too?"

Perhaps the person is distracted enough by his search that he gets bowled over by the chase...?
