Hammering happens with the same silent industrious air as digging did. It takes a few tries to get the hang of it; Angel doesn't seem confident with the hammer or nails, but he can figure it out with a little work.

That isn't to say there isn't a moment where the hammer finds his thumb instead of the nail with a muffled shit!, the thumb being stuck in his mouth as if that'll somehow soothe the pain.
