After a while, Eddie pauses and mops at his brow. "You sure you don't need water? I'm goin' in for some."

And whatever Angel says, he does go into the farmhouse for a cup of water before coming back out. (If it's still a no, Eddie will just come back empty-handed. If it's a yes, Eddie will bring out both cups and pass one to Angel.)

Afterward, Eddie asks, "Did you have anyone like that back home? Family or friends who you were close to?"

The quiet time and the hard work let him get the emotional upset out, and he can go back to talking about things now.
