The ride back to Eddie's farm is an uneventful one (Missy is blithely unaware of anything unsettling about her passenger, for the moment). There was a learning curve, but Eddie's business back home was all about transportation of clients... rich ones. So he knows the importance of ensuring a smooth ride.

Once they arrive at the farm, Eddie uses the excuse of feeding Missy a carrot to block her view of Angel again. "You can come out, she won't see you," Eddie announces.

There is a fence around the property itself already, but there are little improvised flags -- sticks with fabric scraps tied to them -- and twine marking the places where Eddie wants to add fencing and break the farm into sections. Wooden posts and planks are piled up in the barn, visible because the main barn door is open, and a pair of shovels with long handles and narrow spade-heads are leaned up against the open door.

"Think we got everything we need." Eddie points to the farmhouse, and says, "Feel free to go in and get water from the kitchen whenever you need it, Angel. I've got the door unlocked for now."
