Oh golly!

[Julie has been utterly and completely sidetracked from anything else she was aiming to do by this ice cream parlor. In part because it reminds her of Howdy's bodega save without all the other stuff and in part because someone or other has ordered a real eye-catcher of a sundae!]

That's got an awful lot of ice cream to it!

[Julie is all of 3'3" so you're excused for not noticing her until she speaks up!]

[Julie has ended up on the beach somehow and some way, shoes discarded and those green and blue legs of hers on full display. She's digging the toes of her paws into the sad, giggling as she does.]

I've read about beaches but never got to go to one of them. I'll have to make a bathing suit to bring with me next time!

[Oh? What's what? It's a blue crab of course but Julie's never seen a crab in real life. So of course she immediately hunches down, hands on her skirt-covered knees and eyes wide.]

There was something in the paper about these, wasn't there?
