The moment he steps off the ferry, Valdis knows he's here. The soul she's touched more than once, the precious memories she's carried since leaving the Eterna. Yet, it may not be her friend. Perhaps it is nothing more than another iteration of him. She glances at Leon, tells him she needs to go check on something, gathers her things and heads straight to the dock.

She's halfway there when she finally sees him, and when she notices Cassandra and Okie, she knows instantly.
