The way that Fever retells her story, it's easy for Ava to imagine herself along with her group. Reliving their journey's struggles and clever ruses and triumphs alongside. She especially likes the poisoning bit, for it sounds more than deserved.

But by the end of it, Ava is sound asleep against Fever's shoulder, her breathing finally evened out.
