"A mage that takes their power and strength from the natural world. I'm a sorcerer, so mine comes from within me on instinct - I was born with a connection to magic, or sometimes you'll hear me call it the Weave. Druids find their path to it through their bond with nature. I had one among my companions, a man named Halsin, and he was happy to talk about his life and experiences. They like growing things, animals, places where they can be in touch with the world as it is, not how it's been shaped by cities."
To hear Halsin talk about it, it seemed wonderful, but Fever knows her own preferences run towards the city, towards less isolated places.
"A lot of them can turn into animals, to fight or roam. Halsin would turn into a bear, at times. A lot of their spells draw on the same forces they live with, as you can expect. Where I might just use the Weave to out and out stop someone from moving, they might make vines grow and ensnare their foes, for one example. Or they draw on the rivers and lakes, and create fresh water for what purpose might be needed. Things like that."
