Leon raises his eyebrows at the immediate recognition of what he means, briefly surprised before figuring that it's not that far-fetched. Before Raccoon City he'd figured zombies were closer to shapeshifters and wizards and the like than anything that could happen in his world - firmly in the realm of the fantastic.
"Yeah. Like undead," he says. "So don't worry about it. I just got surprised for a second, that's all. Shouldn't be an issue again unless you try to bite me."
He flashes her a brief smile, and settles in to watch Ylva's knifework carefully, pausing for a moment to think it over and make sure he's got it right before making his own incision. Thankfully he's got a strong stomach - he may have never done his own butchering before, but after that time he ate a raw snake out of pure desperation, carving up a rabbit with a knife seems downright civilized. His attempt isn't quite as neat as Ylva's, but he's precise and careful and follows instructions well, waiting for her to demonstrate each step before copying it as best he can.
