Both eyebrows go up at the mention that one of his comrades is here, and it takes her a few seconds to remark-

"Oh- ehn, the clinic downtown with the bad jokes on the sign. I... try and avoid doctors, for obvious reasons-" being dead and all, "but if you say he's okay then I trust you."
