Lou seems quite content to chew the bread apart and even manage to get the majority of it into her mouth. Sam watches her just to make sure she doesn't end up choking on it.

"Info here's a little behind the times," he points out. "Kinda surprised we haven't seen more patent medicine around. 'Do cocaine about it' was a thing for a while there and between you n' me, I don't need my kid on crack."

Sam chews a bite of bread soaked in broth slowly for a moment so that he doesn't have to acknowledge that call out right away.

"Don't worry about it. Just gotta get some new boots."
