The freckled hand she takes in her own bears the wear and tear of someone who uses their hands regularly, faint calluses across the grip from the quarterstaff. Still, she keeps her nails trimmed, does the bare minimum so that it's all still usable, and never thought of the idea of hand lotion in her recently known life.

"Daily wear, I think. I've worn them often enough now that not having some would leave me feeling rather exposed when I'm out and about, especially when it's a little chilly. Something basic in a dark color of course would do, but...it's nice to have a choice."
