Yes! The feelers on the illusadermis are coated in a protective film which, for most things it could feasibly touch that are covered in coarse fur, bark, or other protective surfaces, doesn't pose much of an issue. For humans/humanoids/anything with bare skin, however, there's a mild neurotoxin that's able to get left behind and absorbed into the skin. Effects of this neurotoxin involve visual effects of things looking and feeling brighter than they are, a sense of weightlessness, and mild hallucinations of blurring colors/swaying scenery.
