"I'll admit, I've never seen a genasi before either. So you're not a form of human?" Mary asks, then hastens to explain, "My world is mostly humans, and some have been changed by genetic quirks or accidents to look very different from standard."

At the question of how she likes the island, Mary brightens a little. "Most people have been quite nice. And I haven't been mistaken for a child very often... even when I am, most will just apologize and move on."
