"No-" Magne takes off after her before she can lose sight, the dash making Vika's retreat easier to track. Large as she is, Magne is fast, and knows how to maneuver, especially when she still has that magnetic tether to Vika. She vaults dead brush and fallen trunks and finally the leash breaks as Vika makes just enough distance. Her core is going supercritical, but Magne doesn't know that.
