sistermagnetic: (complain)

So much of Magne's life has been brutality in some form or another. Now that she was here, she's got the novelty of being able to touch and connect to other people, and be able to trust that it was exactly what it seemed on the surface. Real human connection, gentle and comforting.

Too bad that it's accompanied by a confession of what, in certain aspects, could be considered murder of one's own creation.

Magne turns over what she's been told, her thumb tracing back and forth along the lines of César's palm.

"[There was nothing else to be done?]" She couldn't imagine there was, if someone as kind as César couldn't find some alternative. "[If other people's lives were in danger, then it would be considered a high crime to just let the AI continue on as she liked, someone else would likely have pulled the plug, then that hypothetical person could have all of Vika's ire. That, or the world would have died in your time and rendered the point moot. From her point of view I can understand not trusting you, but there's nothing I'm hearing that justifies murdering you for taking that kind of action. She sounds homicidal. And trust me when I say I know homicidal.]"
