"Oh, well thank you!" Mary replies, after a moment taken to realize that she's the one being addressed with that compliment. Then she gets a good look at who complimented her, and smiles warmly.

This other woman is all in shades of blue, which in Mary's world would mark her as unusual. Perhaps a metahuman with special powers, but unable to blend in to the normal population... much like Mary herself. Mary has sympathy for those who might be seen as outcasts. Though, really, she shouldn't make too many assumptions.

"My name is Mary Dahl. What's yours?"
