Arthur listens quietly, his expression largely unreadable, but his thick brows lift with surprise. Is his face warm? What is he, some young buck about to have his first kiss?

The only things that mattered now was that she was beautiful, she was easy to be around, and her presence put him to ease like no other. She almost reminded him of Mary, in that regard - but Mary was an old wound that was healing, and Sally had something that Mary could never have offered him.

"I hope you'll forgive me for not bein' as good with my words as you are," He half-jokes, and, with a gentle movement, he pulls his hand free at last - only to properly take her own. "But I think I'd like that very much. In fact, it'd be my honor that you'd have me."
