Watson smiles knowingly. "I know. I feel the same way. This town has a lot to offer, even with the obvious flaws." He gestures in the direction of the clinic's front door. "Though I wasn't at all sure about things when I first arrived. At least there's something worth trying to save."

He shrugs.

"By the way, can I ask," and Watson laughs, in a faintly embarrassed way, "are you Spanish?"
