First Aid is, frankly, ecstatic with Cecil's plan, and more than happy to help him purchase groceries for the soup -- especially any canned or pickled vegetables they can find, to help with people's digestion. When he shows up one day with another delivery and finds himself asked for a hug, he's surprised but not displeased.

"Of course, Cecil," he says, setting down the bag and opening his arms. "You don't have to leave me alone afterwards, either. I'm happy to help."

Despite being somewhat boxy and made of metal, First Aid gives excellent hugs, gentle yet firm and affectionate. You can thank Chris for that; they've been giving him a lot of practice, these past few months.
