The surprise makes Chris smile. "I tell everyone that I'm a medical assistant, and not a real doctor, but that doesn't stop them from saying 'Doctor Freeman' for convenience. But... I'm actually a police coroner back home."

(If Chris knew that Ash clocked them as an artist, they'd just laugh about. Aside from sewing -- which they can use on the job, obviously -- Chris doesn't do much in the way of arts and crafts.)

"I'm going to order a beer. What'll you have, Ash?"
