Maxly bobs in place listening and offering a sympathetic "Ghaa, ghaa" as it takes in what Yamask has to say.

"Ghastly, Ghast-ly lyyyy! Ly Ly!" Maxly assures her that these two will understand and they won't be cruel at all. To prove it, he flies back to Erik and does a couple of circles around him before extending a vaporous tendril to pat the vampire on the head.
