Some of the pokemon dove to hide behind Izuku while a couple others look curious at the newcomer, the Litwick bounding in front of Izuku and turning its flame up a little higher as if in warning that the person would get burned if he got too close.

"It's okay!" Izuku reached out to soothe the pokemon first, not afraid of getting burned. "Sorry, I think they were just a little startled..." He smiled apologetically. "That's what I heard... but I wanted to explore the area a little and they said it would be better to go before nightfall if you were going to go at all so..." He gave a little shrug and a slightly sheepish look.
