[Honestly, Kavinsky was having trouble seeing anything in the forest right now--and it was the sole reason his white-framed sunglasses were hooked on the front of his shirt instead of him actually wearing them. He'd never been afraid of the dark though, so it wasn't enough to stop him from wandering into the forest after he'd caught sight of various glows.
It turned out the particular glow he'd been heading towards was the Litwick, which was honestly a big help in illuminating things.]
