"You think he'd do better in the mines?" Chris says lightly, raising both eyebrows. "Or farming? Where he might get dirt on his clothes?" The very thought makes Chris giggle. They are so very fond of Erik, but his little quirks also amuse them.

"Personally, I wouldn't be surprised if the goddesses fix up the damage to our bodies and pop the soul back in." Chris emphasizes this by making a 'pop' sound with their mouth, then shrugs. "It would explain the scars that linger, why it takes at least a day to be returned, and why resurrected people just pop up in random places on the island."
