Going to Max's bakery is a ritual as much as anything else. Weekly bread that remains nice regardless of how long it's been is a blessing even her original world doesnt have. And now, she can put extra snacks in her bag without having to worry - they'll simply be there. Probably better than the cold and questionably aged poutine she once had.

But all of her plans go out of her mind when she sees who else is working there, and her reaction is automatic, impulsive.

"Why are you working here?"

Because it's....so sweetly domestic of her.
